On the high end, the Mustang Shelby GT500 boasts the 5.2L Supercharged Cross Plane Crank V8, the TREMEC 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, and the 3.73 TORSEN limited-slip rear axle for maximum performance. Of course, don’t forget the Mustang GT and Mustang Mach 1 which both run a 5.0L Ti-VCT V8 engine, and the Mach 1 offers the upgraded TREMEC 6-speed manual transmission with rev-matching.
