When you visit Heath, OH, you’ll feel right at home. And that’s also true at our local family restaurants. So gather the family and come out to one of the following venues. They’re actually some of our favorites too!

1. La Paloma Restaurant

This cozy, family-run establishment proudly serves tasty Mexican and American cuisine at affordable prices. Come in for lunch or dinner and enjoy a variety of items, including vegetarian options and a kids’ menu. Start off with the beef nachos for the table while you browse the menu. Then try a bean and cheese sopapilla, a seafood burrito, the La Paloma special combination plate, or a beef taco plate.

Vegetarians will enjoy the sopa veggie, the avocado or guacamole salad, the veggie fajitas, and the bean and cheese burrito. Kids can enjoy a bean burrito, a cheese or chicken quesadilla, or a chicken taco. They are located at 1112 Hebron Rd. and they are open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

2. Royal Thai

When everyone feels like good Thai food, visit this restaurant. They serve traditional dishes, like stir-fried noodles, curry, dinner fried rice, pad Thai, and spring rolls. We recommend the chicken egg rolls, the crab rangoon, shrimp shumai, or the golden tofu to begin your delicious meal. The kids can order the pad noodle, lo mein, or fried rice while the adults savor the panang curry, the pad cashew nuts, the crispy duck, or the vegetable fried rice.

Royal Thai also proudly provides vegetarian and vegan options. They can be found at 1006 Hebron Rd. C and they are open every day except for Sunday.

3. Tiaquepaque

Are you craving authentic Mexican food? This venue will have you wanting to come back for more. Browse their extensive venue while you sample the chips and housemade salsa to whet everyone’s appetite. For the main course, the adults are sure to like the shrimp salad, the enchiladas rancheros, and the tacos de carne asada, just to name a few. You can also create your own combo, where you can choose from either two or three items.

For the children, select from nine options, such as the burrito and taco, the mini taco bowl, or the cheese sticks and French fries. Finish off with the delectable fried ice cream, the chocolate lava cake, or the banana burrito. Swing by 957 Hebron Rd. any day of the week.
