2025 Ford Maverick: Compact Efficiency Meets Bold Performance

Updates for 2025

The Maverick lineup gets a refreshed style for 2025, including darkened covers over the headlamps, a redesigned front bumper and grille, and fresh wheel designs. There are new interior color options, and the standard eight-inch infotainment screen has been upgraded to a larger 13.2-inch touch display. More standard driver assistance features have been added, including lane-keeping assist and adaptive cruise control. A hybrid powertrain is now standard on the XL, XLT, and LARIAT trims.

Efficient Power

The standard 2.5-liter hybrid engine and electric motor produce a combined 191 horsepower. The engine is paired with a continuously variable transmission and offers up to an estimated 42 MPG in the city for incredible fuel savings. A 238-horsepower 2.0-liter EcoBoost gas engine, similar to last year’s standard equipment, is also available and comes standard in the TREMOR and new Lobo trims, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, and all-wheel drive is available.

Technology Upgrades

The size of the new 13.2-inch touchscreen is exciting on its own, but it also offers more standard features than the previous model year. Ford’s SYNC 4 technology with advanced voice recognition, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto capability are all now included in the base model and up, offering seamless hands-free wireless smartphone connectivity for compatible devices. An eight-inch Digital Cluster is also newly standard, keeping essential vehicle information right in your line of sight.

Cabin Comfort and Convenience

All Maverick models feature crew cabs that can seat up to five people, with four doors and a comfortable back seat. Cloth bucket front seats are standard, offering a six-way manual adjustment for the driver and a four-way adjustment for the front passenger. Convenient storage bins under the rear seats are standard, and there are additional cubbies throughout.

Versatile Cargo Bed

The 2025 Maverick features a 4.5-foot bed with Ford’s FLEXBED Storage System, which lets you create your own segmented storage spaces, bike racks, and more. The tailgate can be locked in multiple positions, and the six included tie-downs double as bottle openers.
