Where to Find the Best Pizza in and Around Heath, OH

Dontatos pizza.

Heath, OH is a city that lies roughly 30 miles east of Columbus in Licking County. Despite its small size, there is plenty to do in the city, and there are plenty of places to get great food. Today, we're looking at the three best pizza places in the Heath area for when you're just too tired to cook one more meal.

Plaza Pizza

Plaza Pizza is far and away the best pie place in the Heath area. If you're not feeling creative, you can go with one of the specialty pies, like the five-meat pizza or five-veggie pizza. However, you can also craft your own perfect pie with well over a dozen toppings to choose from.

If you want a cauliflower crust, you'll have to get a 10" pizza. Otherwise, you can build a 9", 11", 13", or 15" pizza just the way you want it. If you're going to sit down and eat, you might want to bring a large SUV, like a 2022 Ford Explorer XLT. You'll probably have lots of leftovers to transport in addition to your family, especially if you try the Shirley Lou. This restaurant also offers other options besides pizza, like salads and an out-of-this-world torpedo.

Jet's Pizza

While Plaza Pizza is the best place in Heath to get pizza, Jet's Pizza is a great option if you love Detroit-style pizza. Jet's is also the place to order from if you're planning to throw a party because the wings, desserts, and breads are amazing. If you're feeling a calzone instead of Detroit-style pizza, you won't be disappointed if you try one of their specialty calzones. However, you can also customize your own calzone with your favorite pie toppings.

Donatos Pizza

Donatos Pizza is also well worth a visit if you and your family are in the mood for pizza. This pizzeria offers well over a dozen specialty pies to choose from, but you're also more than welcome to customize your own perfect pie. If someone in your household isn't in the mood for pizza, they won't go hungry if you order from Donatos. There are plenty of hot and cold subs to choose from, and the calzones are really good too.

Donatos is also worth considering if you plan to host a party. In addition to pizza, you can order dessert, salad, appetizers, and wings. They even sell convenient two-liter bottles of soda and large bottles of tea.

If you're in the Heath area and feeling pizza for dinner, you're in luck, but only if you have a reliable vehicle. The best place to get pizza in the area, Plaza Pizza, does not offer delivery. Notable mentions that are well worth a visit include Donatos Pizza and Jet's PIzza. If you are at your wits' end over the unreliability of your vehicle, we can help.
