2022 Ford Edge

Ford offers the Edge in five different levels of trim: the SE, SEL, ST-Line, Titanium, and ST. The SE comes standard with 18-inch alloy wheels, bright LED brake lights, rear privacy glass, a rear spoiler, speed-sensitive intermittent windshield wipers, and heated side mirrors. The SE's Black Appearance package adds 19-inch black wheels and a variety of stylish, black exterior accents. With the SEL's Adventure package, you can add a lower front bumper, black roof racks, and grille bars, while with the Convenience Package, you can add fog lights. The ST-Line adds 20-inch gloss black wheels. Smooth, elegant lines, a well-shaped, dynamic grille, an ultra-athletic body, an extra-wide dashboard, and a sloping roof help the Edge to truly stand out and turn heads.

The 2022 Ford Edge comes standard with a 2-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 250 horsepower and 275 pound-feet of torque, providing just the right amount of power for navigating busier highways. The ST trim adds a 2.7-liter twin-turbo V-6 engine that churns out an impressive 335 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque for extra power. An eight-speed automatic transmission pairs with the standard engine.

Standard all-wheel drive provides the Edge with plenty of stability, while a well-balanced steering system makes turning sharp corners easier. The updated suspension setup ensures a smoother, more comfortable ride. For an even more thrilling ride, you can put the Edge into Sport mode on the ST trim. When the SUV is equipped with the optional Class II Tow Package with Sway Control, it has the ability to tow a maximum of 3,500 pounds.

The Edge comfortably accommodates five adults and features an interior design that's simple yet comprehensive. It's easy adding luggage, equipment, groceries, or boxes to the trunk, with 39.2 cubic feet of cargo space tucked behind the SUV's rear seats and 73.4 cubic feet with the rear seats folded all the way down. The sophisticated 2-inch touchscreen infotainment system is both large and user-friendly, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and dual-zone automatic climate control are all standard. With the SEL, you can add sleek cloth seats, a heated steering wheel, and heated front seats. The ST-Line adds a wireless charging pad for conveniently charging all of your devices without needing extra chargers, while the top ST trim adds unique sport seats and a telescopic steering wheel.

Plenty of standard safety features can help you feel secure behind the wheel, whether you're going five miles down the road or on a 500-mile journey. Some of the Edge's key features include automated emergency braking, a lane departure warning system, lane-keep assist, and more. Additional features that are available include adaptive cruise control, post-collision braking, rear cross-traffic alert, and evasive steering assist. A variety of other active and passive features are also included in the Ford Co-Pilot 360 Suite.
